1/4" Plexi-glass was used for the screen because it is more stable and durable than 1/8".  We used 4 screws in each corner to attach it to the 1x3's.  To cover up the screws, we placed some wood molding purchased from Home Depot along the edges to create a frame around the screen.  Here you can see it without the wood trim.

We purchased a coin door off Ebay for 10 bucks.  It needed to be painted and was missing a lock which we purchased from Home Depot, but otherwise it was a good deal.  I passed on wiring the door counter this time because last time it was kind of useless, and the wiring in this door was kind of strange.  The lamps were purchased from Happ as were the lamp holders.  These were wired to one of the computer power supply leads (5v I believe).

The marquee we decided to use for this machine was the classic "dogs playing poker" painting.  I found a 1024x768 wallpaper version and modified it in Photoshop.  I then took it to Kinko's and had it printed out on glossy paper to fit the marquee.  It was sandwiched between to pieces of 1/8" plexi-glass and screwed into the wood.  We used the same wood trim that was used around the screen to cover up the screws.

We used a few coats of white primer on the outside of the cabinet and then two coats of black latex super high glossy paint to give the machine that arcade shine.  The wood texture is still noticeable even though the paint is relatively thick.
