I had my first interview in 4 years about a week and a half ago. I interviewed for a management position in a distribution center. After applying for countless engineering jobs and not even being called to interview, I decided to pursue a job in something I actually have experience in. I knew a couple of people who already worked for this company (coincidently, both were former Pizza Hut managers) and they couldn’t stop telling me how great their job was. The pay would’ve been better, the hours would’ve been better, the benefits would’ve been better, and best of all, no customers to deal with. Alas (always wanted to use that word), I screwed up somewhere in the midst of three interviews and a company visit and did not “meet their qualifications for any open positions,” so its back to the grind of the hut (and the never-ending career search).
hey! you might not remember me, i used to work for you at sullivant pizza hut, i was just wondering if you still worked for pizza hut and could find out for me if i am re-hireable there or could work at taco bell, i kinda need a job really bad and thought about coming back to pizza hut because i liked working there alot, even though i might not have been the greatest employee. maybe i could become a shift manager. anyways that’s my email and you can email back if you want, thanks! bye.
