Rejected
I had my first interview in 4 years about a week and a half ago. I interviewed for a management position in a distribution center. After applying for countless engineering jobs and not even being called to interview, I decided to pursue a job in something I actually have experience in. I knew a couple of people who already worked for this company (coincidently, both were former Pizza Hut managers) and they couldn’t stop telling me how great their job was. The pay would’ve been better, the hours would’ve been better, the benefits would’ve been better, and best of all, no customers to deal with. Alas (always wanted to use that word), I screwed up somewhere in the midst of three interviews and a company visit and did not “meet their qualifications for any open positions,” so its back to the grind of the hut (and the never-ending career search).
Vote for your deal
Amazon.com is running a promotion where you can vote on a product you would like to buy at an insanely discounted price. After the voting concludes, the winning item is then offered to a selected number of individuals who voted for that particular product. The voting page can be found here - http://promotions.amazon.com/gp/holiday/amazon-customers-vote.
I’m interested in the Xbox360, the Camcorder, and the HD Tivo, so everyone vote for those items (…then buy them for me for Christmas).
