Razorgore Down
I’ve been having a little trouble lately coming up with ideas to post. Partly because my life isn’t that exciting, partly because I don’t like to write, and partly because I spend about half of my free time playing World of Warcraft (WoW). I decided that I have enough friends that play WoW, so I’m going to start posting some things that are happening in-game with either my guild or my character.
These posts will be contained in the WoW category, and all other posts will fall into the General category. Those of you that have no interest in WoW, or have no idea what it is, can simply click the General link on the right and only see the posts related to the real world.
With that being said, the rest of you reading will understand how complicated some of the fights in BWL can be. We (’We’ will refer to my guild from here onward) successfully downed Razorgore for the first time on Wednesday. We ended up using a strategy that involved the warriors tanking/kiting the dragons and everyone else DPSing everything. Surprisingly enough, after two attempts we had him to phase two (after that its fairly simple) with all 40 people alive. The raid composition, which consisted of at least 9 paladins, was slightly awkward as well. Maybe all the extra healing is what helped us keep everyone up through phase one?
The Vael fight didn’t go quite so well, but we’ll worry about that next week
